Lake Glenville

Welcome to Cashiers Highlands NC

Our four bedroom and four bath vacation home has over 200 feet of waterfront on Lake Glenville. Lakeside Cottage at the Point enjoys a "million-dollar" view of glistening Lake Glenville. Fed by five mountain streams, our Glenville lake is 4.5 miles long and covers more than 1,460 acres. Its twenty-six miles of shoreline meander past canopied country roads, Christmas tree farms and picturesque waterfront homes. At 3,800' elevation, Lake Glenville is the highest mountain lake east of the Mississippi River. It is the ideal destination for a family vacation, a "Big Chill" gathering of friends, family reunion or weekend getaway.

Experience the magic of Western North Carolina's high country and the traditional Southern resort towns of the Highlands - Cashiers Plateau in a spectacular Smoky Mountain setting. Lakeside Cottage at the Point is nestled among old-growth spruce and white pine trees on the shores of Lake Glenville near Cashiers and Highlands, North Carolina. A winding walkway leads through stands of juniper, mountain laurel and rhododendron to boulder steps at the water's edge and our private boat dock. Sip a cup of steaming coffee on the deck overlooking the lake as the sun crests the mountains. Explore Lake Glenville by canoe or kayak in the tranquility of early morning or tee-off at one of the nearby golf courses as morning mist gives way to bright sunshine.

Our Lake Cashiers North Carolinan getaway is convenient to many activities and attractions: golf courses abound in Cashiers, Cullowhee, Highlands, Sapphire and Waynesville; antiques, boutiques, galleries and mountain crafts are found in the nearby hamlets of Brevard, Cashiers, Franklin, Highlands and Sylva; restaurants offering everything from simple home cooked food to fine dining regional cuisine; boating, fly fishing, hiking trails, stables, mountain biking, white water rafting and waterfalls. We know you will find everything you are looking for near our Lake House on Lake Glenville.
